DONIC is a traditional German company in the second generation, which has become one of the world's most important manufacturers of wooden blades, rubber sheets, tables, textiles and other table tennis equipment. Meanwhile numerous world class players, national teams, top clubs and millions of active table tennis players trust in our products. World and European championships as well as national and international titles have been won with our equipment. That is why we claim: CREATE SUCCESS

The early years
DONIC was originally founded in Cologne by its eponym Doctor (DO) Georg Nicklas (NIC). When Dr. Nicklas wanted to move to Sweden at the end of the 80s, he sold his company to the Schreiner family. This was the beginning of our success story.
DONIC ก่อตั้งขึ้นครั้งแรกในเมืองโคโลญ ประเทศเยอรมัน โดย Dr. Georg Nicklas  ซึ่งมีชื่อเล่นว่า Doctor  จึงได้นำพยัญชนะในชื่อเล่น DO  มาผสมกับชื่อท้าย Nicklas (NIC)  รวมกันเป็นแบรนด์อุปกรณ์ปิงปองชื่อ  DONIC   และเมื่อ Dr. Nicklas ต้องการย้ายไปสวีเดนในช่วงปลายยุค 80 เขาขายบริษัทของเขาให้กับครอบครัว  Schreiner  นี่คือจุดเริ่มต้นของเรื่องราวความสำเร็จของเรา

How Jan-Ove Walder came to DONIC
It was through a friendship that Jan-Ove Waldner, the most legendary table tennis player of all time, became our world-famous brand ambassador in 1993. Frank Schreiner, who in the meantime had taken over the business of his father Karlheinz, had known JO from his time at the German Club ATSV Saarbrücken. Jan-Ove had always assured Frank that he would join DONIC as soon as he was free.
